A Heart-rageous Shoe Auction

On April 4, 2012, approximately 350 women will take action against heart disease and stroke. This exclusive women oriented fundraising event, A Heart-rageous Shoe Auction, will raise funds and create awareness about the impact of cardiovascular disease among women.

Money that is raised will fund lifesaving research and health promotion programs. It will allow the Foundation to continue to invest in activities that positively impact the lives of people in our communities, especially the women of Manitoba.

This unique event for women will raise funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation's research and health promotion programs. This event will also raise awareness of the leading cause of death among women in Canada - heart disease and stroke.

The Heart-rageous Shoe Auction focuses on an opportunity to socialize, enjoy heart-healthy appetizers, and bid on fabulous footwear while supporting an important cause. Approximately 350 generous and caring women including business leaders, professionals, and supporters of the Heart and Stroke Foundation will attend this unique event. Generous retailers and suppliers will provide beautiful women's footwear in a variety of styles and sizes up for auction. Various activities take place throughout the evening, including a heart-healthy cooking demo, great giveaways, and more!
