Julie Pedersen is the creator of these amazing boots, Muckies. She's had a strong interest in fashion since she started modelling at the age of 15. She went on to study fashion design in Vancouver before making her way back to Winnipeg. When she came back it was in the middle of a cold winter and all she could think about was how she needed a good pair of boots. We all know how hard in can be to find boots that are warm and fashionable at the same time, so which one do we choose?
Julie chose both! She designed a pair of pink Muckies for herself and it wasn't long before people wanted to place orders. The great thing about her boots is that they're all custom made, so you can choose whatever colour combinations you want; perfect if you're tired of only being able to buy boots in black, grey, and brown.
Not only has Julie designed boots for Winnipeggers, but she's designed for celebrities as well. Now we know what you're thinking..."Are these celebrities people have actually heard of?" Well if Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and Rumer Willis don't ring a bell, then we don't know who does!
